This spring, expect Capitol Hill to see an increase in inventory, median selling price, and demand, according to David Charron, president and CEO of the Rockville-based multiple-listing service MRIS. Charron further predicts that the Howard University/Shaw neighborhood will see an increase in inventory and "an increased presence on the real estate radar." While the inventory in the Columbia Heights/Mount Pleasant neighborhood is lacking, the demand is still strong with sales prices expected to rise. [WaPo]
