Arlington County's board will meet in two weeks to consider a 395-unit apartment complex in Courthouse, which could in turn bring a number of public benefits to the county. The complex will include two buildings and 400,000-square-feet on the 1300 block of N. Rolfe Street. ARLNow describes the land as steep, wooded, and with developments that include apartment complexes and single-family homes. With three parcels of the land owned by Arlington County, the developer will also provide a number of public benefits, including an 8,000-square-foot park, 14-unit halfway house, LEED Gold certification to the Courthouse apartment complex, and 39 units of affordable housing.
