How Much for a Georgetown Condo Under 440-Square-Feet?

New, 8 comments

Welcome to a special Micro Week edition of PriceSpotter, Curbed DC's asking-price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from a listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow, we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating

What/Where: 0 BR/1 BA condo in Georgetown
Square Footage: 439
Maintenance: $250

This zero-bedroom condo thinks a lot of itself, and it should with how well it's able to transform a potentially cramped abode into a well-lit, well-furnished space. Despite it being one of the smallest homes on the Washington, D.C. market, it is able to make its asking price seem pretty reasonable when it comes appliances from Bosch, Bertazzoni-Italia, and Sub-Zero. As you can imagine, this home it's not the easiest to walk around in as you're bound to bump into a plush chair or hanging lighting fixture at some point. Regardless, it's hard to give up must-want features like a breakfast bar, walk-in shower, and large-scale paintings that slightly resemble Picasso's blue period. While you're contemplating the asking price of this home, you should know that it also includes a garage parking space, additional storage space, and a private balcony. According to the listing, this condo is the "ideal pied-à-terre," but this listing is definitely adorable enough to be more than just a sometimes home.
