This art installation at the Renwick Gallery in Washington, D.C.—essentially, wallpaper made out of meticulously arranged patterns of dead insects—is equal parts beautiful, gross, and disturbing. The piece is titled The Midnight Garden and was created using bugs from artist Jennifer Angus's own collection, which she breeds specifically to kill and use in her work. So, that's a little unsettling. It definitely looks great, but we'll just be sticking with normal wallpaper.
