At 1311 E Street SE, there is currently an auto repair shop and a warehouse, but soon it will become the site of Capitol Hill's newest 45-unit residential project. The site is zoned for industrial use, so the developers will need a PUD to construct the planned 30 three-bedroom townhomes, eight flats, and six lofts. According to UrbanTurf, the developer is "targeting empty nesters and families." The most expensive homes in the development will be priced at $1.3 million and will include underground parking with one space per unit. Expect the PUD to be filed with the Zoning Commission within the next few months.
