Car-Free Housing

New, 1 comment

The belief that not every D.C. resident owns a car is becoming more and more commonplace in the District. With this assumption, the developer SB-Urban is looking to gain permission to have zero parking spaces for the 123-unit development in Shaw's historic Blagden Alley. To gain permission for car-free housing, SB-Urban plans to invest $70,000 in a new 27-dock Capital Bikeshare station with a membership for each resident. [GGW]
