In a list of the top 100 best hotels in the nation, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Jefferson at number 10, up from number 99 from last year. The list is compiled based on hotel class ratings as well as the number and prominence of industry awards and traveler reviews, according to Washington Business Journal. [WBJ]
