Now on its way towards the final stage of approval, a 17-story, 72-unit condo building is planned to be built with a ground-floor "arts alley" type space. According to Bethesda Now, a five-foot alley between the Woodmont Triangle development and a Montgomery County parking garage will be converted into an art incubator space with studios. The space will be managed by the Bethesda Urban Partnership. Expect the set-up of the building to feature 7,000-square-feet of retail space and art studios on the ground floor, four stories of above-ground parking, and condos on floors six through 17. If approved, the development will be located on 4990 Fairmont Avenue.
