In December 2014, Northern Virginia got a nice pick-me-up in the number of sales, the sale price, and the number of active listings. That month, home sales were up 10.6 percent from a year ago with an average sale price of $572,712. Even the number of active listings were up, 29 percent higher from a year ago. [WBJ]
