See What to Expect From a Brand New New Carrollton

Plans are in the works to completely revitalize New Carrollton with 2.7 million-square-feet of construction. This development has the potential to be Prince George's County's largest development since National Harbor. Recently, the real estate committee of Metro's board of directors approved the outline for the development with construction set to begin 2016. The development will alter 41 acres around the New Carrollton Metro Station with 1,370 residential units, 1.1 million-square-feet of office space, 150,000-square-feet of retail space, and 150,000-square-feet of hotel space. The first phase will begin construction on a four- to six-story apartment building with 260 units and 13,000-square-feet of retail.
