Despite a setback last week when the DC Court of Appeals handed 901 Monroe in Brookland back to the zoning commission, developer Bo Menkiti says he's "100 percent committed to this project and the Brookland neighborhood." The 213-unit mixed-use project steps from Metro was first approved in 2012 but has been mired in controversy ever since, with some neighbors claiming the development is too big for Brookland. [WBJ]
