Morton Street Mews Shows Off Its Colorful New Vision

New, 1 comment

Back in February, Curbed got wind of a new development, Morton Street Mews, that would turn the old Iglesia Ni Christo Church into 26 condos. Now, some more information has come to light, as well as these images that are far brighter than the clear first draft sketches that OPaL released in the winter. From the looks of it, the 26 two-level condos will consist of several two bedroom options and these colorful rowhouse-chic structures will take the place of the former house of worship. The condos will be sizable, ranging from 1154 square feet to 1900 square feet and ask will start in the high $600,00s. There is something to be said for off-street parking in Columbia Heights. Although this project was originally projected for completion in 2014, they're now saying early 2015 is a more reasonable goal. Check out the new exterior images after the jump.
