No, we didn't add an extra zero onto that rental price: the two penthouses at The Woodley will be available at $12,000/month. Admittedly, there are other pricier rentals in the city (hello, Wormley School penthouse!) but for context, the most expensive apartments at exorbitant Louis at 14th (now called The Louis) are only asking $9300/month. To be fair, those penthouses at 14th & U are half the size of The Woodley's two-story 2,273 square foot three bedroom offerings. In fact JBG, the same developer that renovated The Louis, sold this 212-unit Woodley Park apartment building for a record setting $195 million in June. No other multi-family building in D.C. has gone for that much. As for what residents will be getting in this building: a catering kitchen, a rooftop grill, a building swimming pool and ability to bring your pet (and have it groomed.) Plus, if you simply want a studio in the Woodley, those are only $2,700/month.
