New Signage Could Mean Progress For 1745N

[Photo by Sally Kuchar for Curbed]

The sign above for condo project 1745N has just recently appeared in front of the empty Dupont rowhouses, signaling that perhaps work may start soon on the sixty-eight condo project. About a month ago, 1745N (which had previously been referred to as N Street Condominiums) revealed their new name, their new website and the intention to finish their conversion by late next year. Still, the signage in front of the home is just as excitement-inducing simply because those rowhouses have been abandoned for eons. The plan to convert the houses into a hotel fell apart a few years ago and they'd just kind of stayed there, vacant, haunting passers-by. Stay tuned to this space; we'll let you know when they do receive the permits and start adding to the wealth of construction projects south of Dupont Circle.
