Cornerspotted: Forrest Hall, Home of the Georgetown Gap

One of our Twitter followers, Alex Marshall, was the correct guesser for this edition of Cornerspotter. He knew that this large Greek Revival building houses The Gap in Georgetown, which made a brief appearance in the the 2003 Tom Cruise film Minority Report. The name of the building at Wisconsin and N Street NW is Forrest Hall and as it's been standing there since 1851, it has a long and colorful history.
