U Street, Here is the Preliminary Scoop on The Lumen

It may seem like the three block radius around 14th & U has long since been filled with condo projects, but believe it or not, there is room for one more. The corner of 14th & W will be home to an eighteen condo project called The Lumen by next summer. The project is still in the pre-construction phase, but what we have right now is the appropriately light-filled rendering above from Community Three Development. Those full-length windows will certainly bring a lot of natural light into the condos (and allow for a good view of Fast Gourmet across the street). Stay tuned to this space as more details emerge.
