The condo project replacing the area's most famous parking garage now has a name, albeit not a terribly imaginative one. 1400 Key Blvd will be the name of the Monday Properties apartment building in the large tract of land bounded by Key Boulevard, Wilson Boulevard, N Nash Street and N Oak Street. If these exterior renderings look familiar, it's because a few of them were released in June, when it became apparent that the parking garage currently at 1401 Wilson Boulevard, where informant Deep Throat once provided Washington Post journalists with intel about the Watergate scandal, would become wrecking ball dust. The 32 story building containing 274 apartments has no announced construction timeline, so visit space 32D while it's still around. The new exterior renderings, which give a better look at the included green space, can be seen after the jump.
