Take a Look at Embassy Row Hotel's New Rooftop Terrace

Rooftop pools and terraces are becoming de rigeur for many of the D.C. area's residential buildings, but they're present in surprisingly few area hotels. Admittedly, a large chunk of D.C.'s hotels are in historic buildings so that makes adding rooftop swimming a bit of a challenge. So, when Embassy Row Hotel unveiled their new rooftop amenity last night, they also hopped into an elite club consisting of Donovan House, Liaison Capitol Hill, the Capella in Georgetown...and not really anyone else. At 4,130 square feet, the terrace is quite roomy and a sizable chunk of it was shaded under a large tent. This is just the beginning of the renovations to the Embassy Row Hotel and there are more photos of the rooftop pool and bar (not to mention the view) after the jump.
