Which Condo Under $500K Deserves The Victory Lap?

New, 1 comment

It's the point in the year when D.C.'s weather turns from tolerable to terrible, so what better way to celebrate(?) than a Real Estate Death Match. In last week's showdown in Northeast D.C., Kingman Park had a decisive victory over its neighbor to the north in Trinidad. Now the battle has moved westward as one bedroom condos from familiar foes try to take each other down. It's Real Estate Death Match: Logan Circle vs. Dupont Circle Edition!

This one bedroom loft in Northern Exchange goes for the illusion of warmth with the exposed brick, leather couches and dark colored kitchen cabinets. However, it doesn't feel cramped due to the enormous windows and high ceilings (as lofts are wont to have). The walk-in closet is also pretty nice. The one drawback is that it's a slightly smaller space that costs a little more.

This one bedroom penthouse at The Palladium is quite the nature-inspired oasis. There's no shortage of colorful flowers on either the rooftop deck or the small private balcony. Then there's that marble breakfast bar inspired by waves and green accents on the kitchen backsplash. Plus, the mirrors everywhere give the illusion of space and further amplify the ambient natural artwork on the walls.
