The National Building Museum's playful installation The BIG Maze is coming on July 4th and the museum is drumming up excitement by allowing you to watch the maze go up in the museum's Great Hall. Here's the catch: the camera following the construction is not operating continuously. A new shot of the maze's progress appears once every thirty minutes. Perhaps this is their tactic for preventing cheaters from navigating the 60 square foot maze made of 18 foot high plywood walls with too much ease. But additionally, the gallery above will show that the progress on the maze designed by BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group this morning between 7:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. hasn't been momentous. Have a look.
