Admittedly, only one of the earlier renderings for the new D.C. United stadium had severe Photoshop failure written all over it. Still, these new images showing more aerial and interior views are a nicer look at the potential stadium coming to Buzzard Point. At this point it's still a potential stadium because there's still no indication that the D.C. Council will pass the legislation when they meet up on June 26 to discuss the proposed legislation. Still, these images are clearly engineered to increase support for the stadium in advance of that hearing — the first aerial view gives a good sense of what the complex on the whole would look like, and the interior image is a good look at the view from inside the 20,000-25,000 seat stadium under the overhanging lights. Have a look.
