The Aftermath Of The K Street Strip Club Collapse

New, 4 comments

The sidewalk is boarded up across the street from K Street's Busboys & Poets, but it still can't completely hide the gaping hole where a brick building should be. On Friday afternoon a wall collapsed at The Cloakroom, the strip club on the corner of 5th & K Street and minutes later, the roof caved in. Although the buildings were deemed historic, construction workers came in over the weekend to dismantle the partially destroyed structure. There are still piles of brick in front of the structure and the remains of walls and wood pilings are leaning awkwardly against what remains of The Cloakroom. Take a look at the rest of the photos of the aftermath after the jump.
