Finally, there's a date attached to the grand opening of Metro's never ending project, The Silver Line. Theoretically, Northern Virginians will be able to take the train in from Tysons on Independence Day instead of trying fruitlessly to find fireworks parking by George Washington University. WTOP reports that the the Silver Line could be substantially complete (for real this time) within the next two weeks. Still, considering that February's report of substantial completion meant, "Well actually, there are speakers that pose a fire hazard, leaky stations and track gauge problems." So, it's poll time.
