The buzz around North Bethesda development Pike & Rose just got a little bit louder. The Montgomery County cultural behemoths of the Strathmore will be curating a new music venue within the retail-residential mega-project called AMP. Pike & Rose was already looking to bring a uniquely urban feel to Montgomery County with amenities like a rooftop garden (with available plots for rent) and open plazas meant to attract farmers markets and street festivals. Now it's also getting a 250-seat venue with 2800 square feet of indoor space that will open in early 2015. This won't even be the sole nightlife attraction within Pike & Rose which will also open an iPic movie theatre and Pinstripes bowling alley. Although no renderings are available yet, AMP will be encased in glass and overlooking the park shown in the rendering above called Muse Alley. Also, AMP will be available for events such as weddings, so if you're particularly jazzed on using this new space, rentals will begin in the fall.
