Although Metro (and Alexandria residents) would really like a Potomac Yards metro station between National Airport and Braddock Road, it's starting to become a more expensive endeavor than originally anticipated. Moving the site of the station so as to deal with the concerns raised the National Park Service will delay the project three years and cost over $100 million more than they'd thought. Yikes.
