One would think that a construction timeframe for CityCenter DC's planned Hilton Conrad hotel would be enough excitement from the increasingly luxe mega-project for one day. Apparently not, because now news has come in that their brand new Park at CityCenter is launching a series of regular public activities. The weekly Tuesday exercise classes and monthly dog owner meetups (on the first Saturday of the month) are the start of what CityCenter developer Hines will be continuing events aimed at bringing the entire community to the fountain-flanked park designed by Gustafson Guthrie Nichol. This announcement also comes right on the heels of this analysis from Washington City Paper stating that CityCenter DC may only cater to the top 1% of the city's earners.
