While condo buildings in NoMa are using their building pets and musician-friendly amenities to draw residents, the neighborhood as a whole is looking to draw in visitors, locals and new residents with free outdoor wifi. Today, NoMa launched phase one of this plan, so anyone who wants to work outside on First Street anywhere between New York Avenue and M Street can do so easily. While the map above shows the current extent of the wifi coverage, eventually, people will be able to connect from North Capitol to 3rd Street NE between Union Market and Union Station. Any NoMa residents out there who can speak to how well it's working on the first day?
