Twenty-seven of the area's best have designed it and now you can potentially buy it. The 5,593 square foot D.C. Design House has hit the market today courtesy of McEnearney Associates Realtors for a whopping $3.85 million. One thing of note, if you've seen the home's previous specs: the reason that the home went from six bedrooms down to five is that the design team of Dennese Guadeloupe Rojas and Diane S. Taitt changed one of the bedrooms into an upstairs sitting room. Since everything from the sand-themed paint job to the ceiling sculpture to the colors of the pillows are meant to evoke the zen-like feeling of being in the ocean, that's not at all a problem. We've got the floor plans in the gallery above, as well as some listing photos from spaces that we either missed somehow (like TJ Monahan's bathroom) or don't mind profiling again. Yes, we are talking about that insane kids' playroom with a rock wall that every adult really just wants for themselves.
