The Williams-Addison House may have initially gone under contract six weeks ago at its exorbitant listing price of $16.8 million, but it just closed at the slightly less exorbitant $16.1 million. A $700K loss for any other property might secure it a spot in the Pricechopper Hall of Fame, but in this case, that's only a 4.2% drop from the original price. Oh, and even at $16.1 million, it's also the most anyone has paid for a house the District since 2010 (since this one still hasn't quite crossed the line into sold yet). No word on which family dropped that significant amount of green on the Georgetown Tudor home, but as always, feel free to drop us a line if you know something that we don't.
