When Metro offered up land near five of its stations for development back in November, who would have thought that Fort Totten would be the one left in the dark. True, only one developer offered to build apartments near Morgan Boulevard and it's no shock that Navy Yard has three groups vying to build nearby, but with a Wal-Mart coming soon, one would have thought Fort Totten might attract more interest.
