About a month ago, D.C. got a preliminary glimpse at The Shay. It didn't reveal too much too soon; just that the fashion world inspired building on 8th and Florida NW would have some retail on the ground floor, floor to ceiling windows and bright green and red accents on the exterior. Now, they've put up some new renderings to give interested people a look inside and up top. In addition to getting a glimpse at the pool and cozy roof deck, the renderings provide a good look into the interior common spaces. The lobby will strongly feature bright furniture, exposed brick and modern art. Other group areas clearly meant for socializing show heavy use of wood and more floor to ceiling windows. Also, everyone that lives there will be a shadow. Check out the full gallery and stay tuned to this space as more renderings (perhaps one of the dog washing station?) become public.
