Arbitrary Listicles

Finally, an arbitrary listicle that recognizes its own arbitrariness. Unlike this list from Movoto of things people in D.C. understand which may not have been written by people that actually live in the District, this list of "24 Things I've Learned After Moving To Washington, DC" is refreshingly personal, universal and honest. The best three involve the author's hatred for traffic circles, confusion regarding Chinatown, and love of the Washington Monument's scaffolding. [Thought Catalog; Photo by Flickr user ephien]
