Washington took a small step towards getting taller yesterday, with a very minor adjustment to D.C.'s Height Act. According to Urban Turf, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform voted unanimously for a bill to allow for "human occupancy" in the penthouse areas of buildings that have been previously limited to the housing of mechanical equipment.
