Mapping D.C.'s Westeros Sure Beats Finding D.C.'s Bushwick

Sure, comparing D.C. to other cities on the East Coast can be mildly enjoyable but it's been done. In fact, it's been done ad nauseam. This group of intrepid Craigslist posters has come up with something far more interesting: dividing D.C. into Westeros and Essos, the two continents from Game of Thrones. Admittedly, this endeavor sounds like the brainchild of a bunch of people looking to role play while imbibing, but it does raise the questions of what neighborhoods best resemble the fantasy lands from the George R.R. Martin books and accompanying HBO Series. Would the Arbouretum be the best place in the city to raise dragons? Would the seats of power match up? Is there a way to somehow change the seven kingdoms into the eight wards? Spill your thoughts in the comments and we might put together our own D.C. as Game of Thrones map. Plus, it's much more fun than deciding what neighborhood is D.C.'s Williamsburg or Bushwick.
