Holy Housing

After a horribly destructive 1970 fire, St. Thomas Episcopal Church has been operating at make-do capacity with worship services moving into the salvaged parish hall and the ruins becoming a park. Now, with the help of developer CAS Riegler, the church might not only get a larger new building, but a 70-foot apartment building on the property to help with the costs. That would, of course mean, the end of the park on the property which has caused some controversy amongst the parishioners. [GGW]
