Metro Madness

There may have been fewer non-working escalators in the past year than in 2012, but it may not have seemed that way if the Archives or Woodley Park station was a regular part of the commute. Luckily, three of the escalators that received a high number of work orders in 2013 are scheduled for replacement. Unluckily, the escalators that have been most problematic so far in 2014 are in heavy tourist areas like Smithsonian, Chinatown and L'Enfant Plaza. [WCP; Photo by Adam Fagen]
