The biggest jumps in housing prices year-over-year in 2013 came in neighborhoods that are closer to the edges of the city. Housing prices surged 25% higher around Kennedy Street, Walter Reed and Fort Totten. Prices is Anacostia jumped 23% higher. With apologies to neighborhoods like Petworth and H Street NE (which saw a smaller spike in prices in 2013), it looks like some new neighborhoods are in demand! [WCP; Photo by Carrie Ansell]
