Which 2BR Condo Under $675K Really Speaks To You?

New, 2 comments

Greetings, Real Estate Death Match fans! Last week's contest was rather evenly matched with the Petworth one bedroom barely edging out the Truxton Circle competitor. On this unfortunately cold day, we're pairing two neighborhoods that have already faced each other! Logan Circle came out on top last time, but let's see who wins Real Estate Death Match: Logan Circle vs. Columbia Heights REMATCH!

Address: 1419 R Street NW #11
Price: $675,000
Square Feet: 1300
Beds, Baths: 2/2

This two bedroom in Logan Circle is exposed brick city. This renovated condo from 1910 is not only beautiful, it's pet friendly. It's too bad the old looking sled from the kid's bedroom has to leave the unit, too. It is a little pricier for less square footage and no, there have still been no answers as to why there's a random pole in the kitchen.

Address: 1466 Harvard Street NW #TH4
Price: $659,900
Square Feet: 1477
Beds, Baths: 2/2

This townhouse unit in Harvard Lofts was built five years ago, but is just now hitting the market. The loft is filled with light due to the floor to ceiling windows across both floors, but there's a wall that blocks the outdoor patio (and first floor) from the tandem parking spaces behind the condo. The parking spaces do not necessarily come with the apartment (they cost extra), but those awesome Bosch kitchen appliances sure do. It's also a little larger for the cheaper price.
