With $2M Price Chop, Loudoun County Manor Asks $2.4M

Way down in Aldie, Virginia, this five-bedroom, seven-bathroom manor has been on the market for five years now. The home was originally listed on June 15, 2009 at $4,395,000, according to Realtor.com, and has been delisted and relisted too many times to count. We reached out to real estate agent Charlie Bracke, who said that it's not uncommon for a property like this to be on the market for this long. Now listed at $2,395,000, he added that the current price is much more accurate for today's market. With 10,645-square-feet and 100 acres of land, the home is basically in the middle of nowhere, 39 miles from Washington in Loudoun County. For some homebuyers, this could be a blessing by having some distance from the city, but for others, the commute may wear on them. Even so, this home is three stories of luxury with five fireplaces, a theater and game room, a wet bar, and a wine cellar. The master bedroom has decorative columns, the theater has a mural of a fanciful landscape, and the three floors have an elevator to navigate them. Crane you neck a little higher to see more highlights in the home, which include recessed lighting, ceiling centerpieces, beamed ceilings, coffered ceilings, and tray ceilings. To top it all off, there's a pool house along with the pool in the back of the home.
