Shaw is growing bigger and better, and D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray decided to show the neighborhood off with a ribbon-cutting spree on Monday. With a total of 17 ribbons cut that day, one of the locations honored included Compass Coffee on 7th Street NW. [WAMU]
