What to Expect from Anacostia River's 673-Unit Development

New, 8 comments

UPDATE: A previous version of this article incorrectly identified this development as being located in Anacostia. It has not been corrected to say that it is on the Anacostia River.
The Zoning Commission will soon decide on the first stage of a 673-unit residential complex on the Anacostia River. With the expectation that the complex will move forward in 2015, the four-stage development will construct three buildings with four towers and 10,000-square-feet of retail. As reported by UrbanTurf, the first stage will construct one 10-story building with 218 residential units. The 2.9-acre site will feature a public green space, wildflower garden, and dog park. The development will be located adjacent to the Anacostia River at 1333 M Street SE.
