Problem or Solution?

While most new memorials cluster around the National Mall, the National Capital Planning Commission is worried the area is becoming crowded. With about seven memorials erected every decade, the Commission is now working to erect memorials around the city. Rather than rejoice for this proposed solution and two proposed memorials in Capitol Hill, residents are instead criticizing the plan, hoping to preserve the open spaces in their neighborhood. [WaPo]
