One commenter guessed that this week's Cornerspotter was at Washington Circle, which isn't too far off from the correct answer, which is at the corner of 19th and S streets NW in Dupont Circle. This 19th century building once housed a co-ed primary school and was named after the principal, Queenie Ada-Maye Tomlin. Now, the building serves as a 10-unit corporate apartment building, called La Maison à Dupont.
