Construction has begun for the m.flats Crystal City high-rise and is expected to be completed by October 2016. The apartments in the 11-story high-rise will include quartz countertops and oak flooring throughout as well as amenities like a two-level clubhouse, a swimming pool, and underground parking. There will be a total of 198 luxury units with primarily one- or two-bedroom apartments. Marketing for the high-rise will be targeted to those in the 25- to 34-year-old age range. Rent has yet to be determined. The development is LEED Silver-designed and will be located one block away from the Crystal City Metro station.
