Revising Gehry

The National Capital Planning Commission is voting today on a revised design for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial. The design preserves most of Architect Frank Gehry's 80-foot columns and metal tapestries, but eliminates the east and west tapestries. The site will be located off the National Mall at Maryland Avenue and 4th Street SW. [WBJ] - Michelle Goldchain
