Remembering Mark Kuller; José Andrés' Veggie Restaurant

REMEMBRANCES— Acclaimed restaurateur Mark Kuller of Proof, Estadio and Doi Moi has passed away at age 61 after battling pancreatic cancer. Eater is collecting tributes to Kuller and his legacy here.

NAVY YARD—Hell's Kitchen alumnus Rock Harper's new restaurant Willie's Brew & Que is now open in the Boilermaker Shops building, complete with a huge, $60,000 smoker that can fit four whole pigs into it.

NOMA—A new Asian grocery from Toki Underground's Erik Bruner-Yang is now open at Union Market. This is the place for Pocky, kombucha, and fresh ramen noodles.
