Here, Now: Average Rent in Northeast and Southeast, Mapped

New, 3 comments

As promised when we looked at the cost of renting in various Northwest neighborhoods, Trulia has also given us a snapshot of the average rental prices in some of the most popular neighborhoods in the Northeast and Southeast quadrant. Guess what: it's less, but still pretty high. True, none of these nabes have average rents over $2000/month like Columbia Heights, Foggy Bottom or Downtown properties do. However, NoMa is getting pretty close with an average rent of $1950/month. That's actually higher than Woodley Park! Despite a bright red patch immediately across the river indicating high leasing prices, Anacostia's average rent remains in the triple digits, coming out to $686/month.
