Which Exorbitant Condo Over $2.2M Is the Bigger Stunner?

New, 2 comments

Welcome to another Real Estate Death Match! This is the first Real Estate Death Match of 2014, although there has already been a battle of the apartment building fitness centers. Although Flats at Atlas looked like the early favorite, the oxygen wall at Archstone First + M ultimately proved irresistible to too many voters and they pulled out the V. In order to start 2014 with a serious bang, the opponents are two of the more expensive two bedroom condos in the city, each asking over $2.2 million. Here's a ritzy Real Estate Death Match: Logan Circle vs. Mt. Vernon Square Edition!

Address: 1401 Church Street NW Apartment #214
Price: $2,200,000
Square Feet: 1,793
Beds, Baths: 2/2

This two bedroom loft at Lofts 14 is pretty cool in that it mixes luxury finishes (like everything in the kitchen) with an industrial warehouse aesthetic (note the floor-to-ceiling columns and visible piping). However, one of the most exciting features of this somehow both larger and less expensive building is the terrace. While many other neighbors in the building have outdoor balconies, this one has an terrace with a fountain pool, a grill and several places to relax.

Address: 925 H Street NW Apartment #615
Price: $2,286,000
Square Feet: 1,614
Beds, Baths: 2/2

The immense two bedroom at CityCenter DC is a little smaller and more expensive, but it's also closer to downtown in one of the newest and most hyped up new developments in the District. Like many of the condos at CityCenter DC, this one also has a enormous windows for a well-lit living experience. The (admittedly, kind of hard to read) floorplan also indicates that in addition to a balcony available from the master bedroom, that there's also a rather large terrace to which the living and dining room have easy access.
