Capitol Hill Condo Sets Bar For Accessibility Friendliness

This is extremely cool: this fourth floor condo in new Capitol Hill building the Butterfield House has an elevator and chairlift so that it's handicapped accessible. While many buildings have elevators and some of the really ritzy penthouse condos even have private elevators, this fourth floor chairlift is something of a rarity. Also, the one bedroom is asking a rather reasonable $348,000. That said, it would be nice to see this dedication to accessibility become more of a norm than a novelty. Your move, every other condo project in D.C.
