Failure to Launch

For those hopeful that the approval of the PenPlace development would mean the possibility of new digs near Pentagon City Mall, that's not looking likely. Yes, the Arlington County Board did approve the five building project near the Residence Inn and the mall itself, but did not endorse a residential component to join the retail, offices and community space. Apparently, there's too much in the way of new apartment buildings already. [UrbanTurf]
